Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Capgemini, the IT services and business consultancy company, announced on 15 March its plans to hire 200 new employees at its IT outsourcing services centre in Katowice in 2007. Capgemini’s Katowice centre presently employs 150 people. In the future, its portfolio will be expanded and will include business process services. Capgemini also has an information technology outsourcing operation in Cracow, where 400 persons are employed.
