Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
In early March 2007, the German company Karmann, the world’s largest producer of soft-tops, opened its first production plant in Poland, in Chorzów. The new facility will make production lines and systems for car roof factories. At present the Chorzów factory has a workforce of 90 people but recruitment is still underway and Karmann is going to hire approximately 100 more employees.
