Insurance firm AXA is set to create 150 jobs in Londonderry. The company has announced it will invest 15 million GBP in the development of a new customer service centre on the Northlands Road. The call centre is due to open in May 2007 and is being supported by Invest Northern Ireland. Lorna Preston, business support manager of AXA Insurance, said: 'Derry offers us a business-friendly environment and a supply of suitably qualified people.'
'We are delighted to be joining a growing cluster of financial services companies operating in the north west.'
Invest NI is providing 1.5 million GBP towards the cost of the venture.
