JITONA a.s. originated by the merging of two important Czech furniture makers. The merge has been a formal confirmation of structural and organizational changes carried-out in both companies since 1993 when JITONA a.s. has bought 100 % of shares of Tusculum a.s. As a result, the company has the largest jointly-managed furniture production capacity in the Czech Republic. The company will transfer its production of wood furniture from the Plant Rousínov to the Plant Třebíč. The Plant Rousínov will carry on doing upholstered furniture as well as having now its logistic services. 150 employees will be dismissed.
