Description
KSB, the German producer of pumps, valves and related systems is going to create 130 new jobs in 2007, according to a company press release. In 2006, the company cut 160 jobs in response to decreasing number of orders. Direct dismissals were avoided as most jobs were cut by not substituting voluntary job leavers.
Facing a substantial growth in activity, KSB now sees the need to increase its current German workforce of 4,300 employees again. The new jobs will be located at Frankenthal, the company's headquarter and main factory. No information is given on whether the new jobs will be permanent or temporary .
