Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Unisys BeLux, the Belgo-Luxembourg subidiary of the worldwide information technology services and solutions company, is planning to create a new subsidiary in Mont-Saint-Guibert, near Louvain-la-Neuve. The new site, which is expected to employ 100 people before the end of 2007, will be called "Unisys Consulting" and will deliver solutions and technology expertise to the European Institutions in Wallonie and Luxembourg. By opening this new plant, Unisys, which employs 500 people in Belgium and Luxemburg, intends to continue its growth offering its services to the public bodies in the region.
