European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Baltija Logi, the construction company, will hire 100 employees (bricklayers, carpenters and other construction workers) as a result of increased business activity. The construction sector has developed very fast in Latvia during the last three years and such growth in employment is not surprising. As a matter of fact, there is a labour shortage and a number of construction companies are having difficulties hiring employees.
