Description
On 30 January 2007, insurance company Delta Lloyd/Ohra Zorgbedrijven announced that 200 jobs will be cut. The jobs will be lost in the health insurance division which has now 600 employees. The fierce competition brought about by the introduction of the new health care system in 2006 is the main reason for restructuring the company, integrating its individual health care companies and thereby creating overlap in positions. Several activities will be replaced from The Hague to Arnhem and others will be computerised. According to a Delta Lloyd spokeswoman it has not yet been decided which individuals will be dismissed.
