Description
The American giant of transport Fedex express train announced on 29 January 2007 that Fedex France will increase its activity in the country. Fedex currently employs 2,500 people in its various storage sites across France.
Between February and December 2007, Fedex France is expected to recruit between 200 and 250 new employees. The company wishes to replace air transport by high-speed trains for European short distance deliveries. As a result of this, the FedEx site at Roissy airport in Paris is expected to concentrate most of the new jobs.
