European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The American company Flextronics plans to build a EUR 38 million factory of electromechanical components for the electronics industry in Tczew (in the Pomorska Special Economic Zone). Flextronics already employs 3,000 persons in Poland. It will initially hire 800 new workers for the Tczew plant over the first two years and eventually in the next years the number of employees will reach 1,500.
