The last Kodak laboratory of development of silver photographs in France closed on Friday 19 January 2007.
Kodak decided to cut 150 jobs in Creteil, in Paris, because silver photographs are gradually being replaced by numerical photographs. In this sense, the site developed 4.1 million films in 2006 as opposed to 22 million in 2002.
