Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
As an international service company, the German TÜV Rheinland Group certifies the safety and quality of new and existing products, systems and services.
It is the largest company of its kind worldwide and employs a global workforce of 10,400.
According to a January 2007 announcement TÜV Rheinland expects to expand its global operations by 10% in 2007 and to create 1,200 new jobs worldwide. Out of these 300 will be created in Germany and another 900 in other countries - no further country information is given.
