Swiss company Adecco, one of the largest temporary work agencies worldwide, announced plans to create 16,000 jobs in Germany. Chief Executive Officer Schelff informed FAZ that in 2007 4,000 new jobs shall be created by Düsseldorf-based subsidiary DLS (Dienstleistungen für Stellenvermitttlung & Personalmanagement AG) and another 12,000 by mother company Adecco.
Adecco sees an increasing demand for engineers (in particular by machinery, car and aircraft manufacturing industries) and for professionals to work in financial services, IT-services and sales and distribution.
Schelff expects the number of temporary workers in Germany to triple within the next years.
