European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
One the leading Spanish department stores, El Corte Ingles, announced on 9 January 2007 the opening of another supermarket in 2007. This new supermarket will be based in Zaragoza, northern Spain. This opening will allow El Corte Ingles to create between 800 and 1000 new jobs.
