Description
Afer, the manufacturer of prefabricated houses, has experienced constant growth in the last decade. As a result of that, the company announced on 15 December 2006 its plans to build a new construction plant in Alonsotegui, Vizcaya, in 2007. This new site, which is expected to create around 3,600 jobs, will be devoted to the construction of complete modules for prefabricated houses. The investment is expected to have a positive effect on the transport sector as the modules will have to be transported to be assembled in the construction site.
