European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
One of the main banks in Spain, Banesto, has recently announced an additional pre-retirement plan for a further 600 employees. This plan will start in 2007 and shall be completed by 2010. Banesto already proceeded to an initial pre-retirement plan, in 2006, for 125 of its employees.
