Swiss company Adecco, one of the largest temporary work agencies worldwide, announced plans to create 16,000 jobs in Germany. Chief Executive Officer Schelff informed FAZ that in 2007 12,000 new jobs shall be created by mother company Adecco and another 4,000 by Düsseldorf-based subsidiary DLS.
The company faces an increasing demand for engineers by the manufacturing industries (in particular by machinery, car and aircraft manufacturing) and for professionals to work in financial services, IT-services and sales and distribution.
Schelff expects the number of temporary workers in Germany to triple within the next years.
