Description
International Lighting Technology, the Romanian branch of Austrian Zumtobel group manufacturing lighting equipment, estimates a turnover of EUR 28 million in 2007.
In Curtici, Arad county, some 130 people are currently working there. At the beginning of 2009, the number of employees would reach 400 as a result of transferring another three production lines for industrial lighting.
The net sales of the group, according to the data available on the company website, reached over EUR 1.1 billion in 2005. The expansion of production in Romania is part of the group strategy focused on production restructuring in order to cut costs.
