European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
According to German car manufacturer Audi, the Bavarian-based company did create 300 new jobs for university graduates in 2006 and plans to create about 350 new jobs for engineers and other university-trained personnel in 2007. About half of the new staff will be employed in the development division. Audi currently employs 44,970 people throughout Germany.
