European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Merck, manufacturer of chemical and pharmaceutical products, intends to reduce its sales and distribution staff in Darmstadt by 100 employees by the end of 2010. The reduction is said to adapt the firm to the consequences that result from the reform in the health sector.
