European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
LEGO, Danish manufacturer of toys, is moving the manufacturing of its product, Lego Creator, to a plant in Eastern Hungary, Nyíregyháza from Billund, Denmark. Total production capacity is expected to be reached by mid-March next year with a total of 150 people employed. Another production line was relocated to Hungary at the end of last year: then manufacturing of the product Lego Duplo was moved to Sárvár in Western Hungary from Willisau, Switzerland. Production has been continued there since then in Sárvár, Western Hungary, giving work to 600 employees.
