Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Industrial German group ThyssenKrupp announced on 7 December 2006 that its French subsidiary company, specialised in the manufacturing, maintenance and installation of lifts, will recruit 400 people between December 2006 and December 2007. Thyssen employs 2,400 people in France and has an important number of orders related with the modernisation of lifts.
