European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The windmill factory Vestas are building a new plant in Hammel, Jutland - a so-called competence centre under Vestas Control Systems, where new control systems will be tested before they go to production in Lem (Jutland) or in Spain. 300 new employees will be hired and the factory will reach a total workforce size of 500. Some will come from other Vestas plants, but a minimum of 130 jobs will be new.
