Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Lionbridge, a provider of software localisation and testing services, has announced 130 job creation at its Warsaw office, with total employment reaching 300 by the end of 2007. Along with the facility in Zilina, Slovakia, Lionbridge’s Warsaw office constitutes a European service centre for the company. The Polish branch specialises in translation into Eastern European languages and into Arabic and in multilingual desktop publishing services, including document lay-out.
According to the information of 21.05.2007 the company employs 250 workers. At the end of 2008 the employment level will reach 600 people.
