Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French insurance company Apri, specialised in life insurance, announced on 7 November 2006 that it will create 100 jobs between the summer 2007 and December 2008.
The activity of Apri is increasing rapidly and should still grow in spite of strong competition in the sector.
Apri is expecting to have the new 7,800 square-meter buildings ready by December 2008, that will represent an investment of 33 million euro. The insurer, with units in Epinal, Dunkerque, Toulouse and Paris, has a joint-venture with the bank Crédit Agricole SA.
The company currently employs 690 people.
