Description
Slovak government decided to sell the premises of the former tobacco company in Rimavská Sobota to a foreign investor. Italian company Campagnaro Elettrotecnica from Trieste will invest around SKK 300 million there in order to establish its subsidiary in Slovakia. In the new production plant in Rimavská Sobota the company will produce different electric motors. According to the town's mayor Štefan Cipruš, it is good news for the city, in which local brewery and sugar refinery have been closed recently, and which Dräxlmaier unexpectedly left for Romania a couple of months ago.
