Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
After six years of main activity's interruption and restructuring measures Bulgarian Sugar 2002 in Dolna Mitropolia has hired 260 new employees. The company has also invested BGN 2.3 million in the new equipment, roofs and stores.
At the beginning of the last week the company produced the first tonnes of white sugar for domestic market. According to Valentin Panchev, the company manager, Bulgarian Sugar 2002 will produce 600 tonnes of refined sugar per 24 hours. He added that consequently the refinery will reach its annual quota, which is about 40,000 tonnes of raw material, within three months. The manufacturing of sugar products is increasing as well. The company has 16 own trademarks. At present, there are 400 people employed in both productions.
