The computer networks construction company Relacom has concluded personnel negotiations that started in the summer 2006. It was announced on 28 October 2006 that 100 jobs would be cut and that 100 more employees would be laid-off in the near future. This is due to increased competition in the sector.
A member of the global Relacom Group that employs 15000 persons and operates in 17 countries, Relacom Finland Oy employs 800 people and focuses on the installation and maintenance of telecommunication networks.
