Description
Bosch Robert announced on 27 October 2006 that the automobile equipment supplier will cut 260 jobs in the unit of Calvados between January 2007 and December 2008. Out of this 260 affected employees, 30 will be pre-retired.
The site in Calvados, employing 1,200 workers, is the second one of the Bosch Group in France being affected by a restructuring plan. The reason given for the job cuts is the crisis in the sector.
