Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Solectron, the US-based manufacturer of electronic equipment and subassemblies, intends to increase the number of employees in the Timişoara factory by more than 800 workers in the next three months. It was announced by Fabrice Gomez, general manager of the Timişoara branch.
At present, the company has its global strategic base in Timişoara with 2,400 permanent and 800 fixed-term employees and is producing 35% of the European equipment production worth EUR 1.2 billion.
"Timisoara has a strategic importance for the Solectron's operations at global level", stated Fabrice Gomez, the general manager of the Romanian factory.
