European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Italian company Global Garden Products being the first investor in the new industrial park near the city Poprad has launched the production in its first subsidiary in Slovakia. The costs of the Greenfield investment amounted to about EUR 10 million. Currently 150 employees are working there. Some 600,000 grass-cutters will be produced in the plant in 2007, when additional 150 new jobs will be created there. The full production capacity of 1 million grass-cutting machines and about 80,000 garden tractors per year will be achieved by the end of 2008.
