European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Czech hosiery machine manufacturer Uniplet Třebíč, employing nearly 400 people, is ready to hire another 257 workers, especially machine specialists. The Třebíč district has seen a sharp rise in labour force demand. Employers are looking there for 1,000 people — that is a triple number in comparison with the same period last year. In this economically poor district, about 6,700 people are unemployed — one third of all jobless citizens in the Vysočina region.
