Description

BSN Medical are cutting 131 staff at Brierfield Mills and 14 at the Glen Mills finishing plant in Colne, which will close by the end of next year. The company said competition from elsewhere by firms using cheaper labour has led to the cutbacks and the work would be moved to Asia. It praised workers, saying they had shown dedication and loyalty.
