Description
After aqcuiring the majority share in Bavarian-based aerospace and machine tool manufacturer Burkhart Grob, the Swiss-based business aviation company Executive Jet Investment announced its plans to triple Grob's German aircraft manufacturing workforce within the next four years. Grob currently employs 150 people at its Bavarian plant and in face of Grob's successful sales figures (jets for companies and private use), 450 jobs shall exist until 2010.
Grob employs a workforce of 3,000 worldwide, mostly in machine tool manufacturing. The machine tool manifacturing division is not expected to experience this growth.
