Description
American TRW Automotive Holdings' management decided to invest in Slovakia. A greenfield investment will amount to SKK 0.9 billion and the new factory will produce components for the expanding automotive industry in central and eastern Europe. The factory's construction will be carried out in two stages. In spring 2007, about 300 new jobs will be created in the first production hall. Additional 350 new jobs will be created after the completion of the second production hall in 2008. The list of potential customers of the new plant hasn't been completed yet. However, Hyundai/Kia Motors in Žilina and PSA Citroën-Peugeot in Trnava will be very likely on it.
