Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Danish group ISS, a leading company in cleaning services in France and Europe, announced on 26 September 2006 that it will establish a unit in the north of Paris, in Beauvais. The company, that employs 45,000 employees in France, is expecting to create 250 new jobs: 50 jobs before the end of the year 2006 and 200 jobs (additional) before October 2008. The 32,000 square meter site reflects the aim of the company to further develop its activities in France.
