Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The US-based Atlas Technolgy Group (Atlas TG), specialising in software applications, launched its headquarters in Malta on 18 September 2006. The company currently employs 20 people in Malta and invested about USD 4 million in the start-up phase. Atlas TG will offer routine application software services to clients with large IT needs. It plans to employ around 600 people within the next five years.
