Description
On 20 September, the financial group Fortis Consumer Finance Deutschland announced the creation of about 800 jobs. 500 of them will be created due to an expansion of the financial group in the German market, e.g. Fortis plans to open 130 new branches all over Germany till the end of 2008. Another 300 jobs will be needed within its German headquarters in Essen. Fortis expansion strategy aims at obtaining 4% of the share in the German market. The Fortis Group employs around 57,000 persons worldwide.
