European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 2 September 2006 Aero Vodochody, a Czech military and civilian aircraft producer, and Italy's Alenia Aeronautica signed a contract under which Aero becomes a partner in Alenia Aeronautica's C-27J latest generation transport aircraft program and will manufacture and supply centre wing boxes for the C-27J Spartan. This project is to generate about 150 new jobs. At the moment, the company employs 1637 people.
