Description
Unilever is an Anglo-Dutch producer of consumer goods having two headquarters, one in Rotterdam (Netherlands) and the other in London (UK). The company announced its intention to move all headquarters activities to Rotterdam. It specified that the decision was not connected with Brexit, but Rotterdam was chosen because the firm mainly deals in Dutch shares. Moreover, the company announced that it will leave the FTSE 100, the English blue chip stock index, and will probably increase its weighting in the EuroStoxx index.
