Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Laser Contact (in France: 1,200 employees specialized in the Software consultancy) has announced the creation of a fifth establishment in the north of France (Villeneuve d'Ascq). The activity of Laser Contact is expanding fast. This fifth site should create 350 new jobs between September 2006 and September 2007. Laser Contact has decided to recruit the 350 new employees with the assistance of the National Employment Agency (Agence nationale pour lÂ’emploi, ANPE) local: Villeneuve d'Ascq. The groups Galleries Lafayette and Cetelem are the owners of the company Laser Contact.
