Description
On 15 August 2006, the German engine manufacturer Deutz AG, stated that it wants to employ another 200 persons till the end of 2006. Approximately 100 jobs are to be created at its Cologne and Ulm production sites each. The manufacturer is profiting from an increasing demand for its products from North-America and a continuing stimulation of the construction industry. Deutz employs 5300 persons worldwide, amongst them 4100 employees in Germany (exact figures for each production site are not available).
