Description

Sumimoto Chemical Company, the Japanese chemical group, is establishing a Polish unit, Sumika Electronics Materials Poland. The company announced to invest more than EUR 32 million in construction of two factories in Łysomice by Toruń. These facilities will manufacture LCD components — polarizing film systems and light diffusion panels. The production is to commence in summer 2007, initially employing some 250 people. The number of employees may rise up to 400 by the end of 2008.
