European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 7 August 2006 it was published that the German energy distribution and service group MVV Energie (Mannheimer Versorgungs- und Verkehrsgesellschaft Energie AG) decided to reorganise the groups internal services division and to cut up to 130 jobs within the next five years. The Mannheim-based MVV Energie is shareholder of several municipal energy providers whose internal services divisions will be affected.
