Moneyquest, a Glasgow based telephone and online mortgage, insurance and loan brokers, has announed it is to create 150 new jobs in Glasgow. The firm plans to extend operating hours and take on full-time and part-time staff. The announcement was made as the firm opened its new St Vincent Street HQ. City council Leader Steven Purcell said the move would 'further boost Glasgow's growing reputation as an international financial services centre'.
The company said staff would be employed on flexible working patterns. Glasgow Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Lesley Sawers said: 'This is excellent news for the city and our already very successful financial services sector which now employs 14% of people living in Glasgow.'
