European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Franco-Spanish tobacco group Altadis, which employs 27,175 people in Europe) has announced the loss of 472 jobs in France and in Spain (between September 2006 and February 2007). The plans of reorganization and restructuring of Altadis aim to reduce the costs. With an aim of saving, the Parisian office of the Group will move within Paris.
