Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The English manufacturer of coaxial and multicore cable assemblies, Quadrant Connections announced its decision to invest in a new plant at Sibiuin in partnership with Odu-Rom Manufacturing. Most of the cable assemblies manufactured at Sibiu are designed for telecommunication industries.
Quadrant Connections will invest EUR 200,000 in equipments for the new plant which is situated in a location of Odu-Rom Manufacturing.
“We anticipate that new plant will create 50 new jobs by the end of 2006 and other 50 new jobs in 2007 and will start to produce in the next weeks” stated Anthony Sheridan, the managing partner of the company.
