Call centre firm 2Touch are to create 115 new jobs at their centre in Sunderland. The firm already employ around 1,000 at the centre. The company, which handles calls for firms including Toyota and Britvic, said the 115 new posts came with two major contracts. Managing director Stuart Gray said the new jobs demonstrated UK call centres could successfully buck the trend of companies using sites in India. Mr Gray said: 'We are delighted to have secured two very important contracts in the telecoms and personal finance sectors, that will allow us to create up to 115 new jobs.'
'We are demonstrating we can provide quality at the right price-point and buck the trend of offshoring call centres overseas.'
