Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 29 June 2006, the mobile telecommunications company Vodafone Romania announced the opening of the third centre for customer relations. The new centre, located in Ploiesti, will generate 450 new jobs.
The establishment of this centre and the hiring process are in progress.
At the moment, Vodafone Romania has two centres for customers relations in Bucharest and Brasov, with 1,000 employees in total.
In 2005, Vodafone group employed 60,000 persons worldwide.
