Description
Since March 2006 the Canadian electronic producer Celestica has already created 1,000 new jobs at its Czech site in Ráječko (Blansko region). Overall, the company now employs 2,000 workers and is going to employ a further 200 people by the end of September 2006. The plant specializes in the production of parts for IBM computers and Nokia mobile phones. In April 2005, Celestica announced the closure of plants in France and Spain and signalled its intention to offshore to the Czech Republic.
